THE Corner

Sitting high in the sky 

Pressing buttons for others

My attention is turned

To the corner of the stands

Where so many times

I watched you walk with Purpose & determination

To cheer us on

No matter the situation

So many times, I witnessed your arrival

From a different point of view

But no matter which side of the fence

It always made me smile 

Oh, I wish I could see

the hitch in your walk

Come around the bend

With an undying will 

To get to your seat

Your cheers are still present

And you’ll always be coming around the corner in our hearts
